About
Robert Pozil and his wife Sue have been married for over 30 years. They live in Southern California, parents of four, and have four grandchildren.
Robert has worked in various executive level capacities, and today holds an executive position with a manufacturing company in Southern California.
Robert has a passion for teaching, leadership, business and serving his local community. When not working, Robert enjoys family time, cycling, gathering with friends, being at the beach, and engaging in various church activities. Although supportive of several churches, Mariners Church in Irvine is his home church. Robert has a passion for God and seeking ways to make the good news of Jesus relatable and attractive.
In his first book, a youth-fiction novel called, The Blessing Effect, he reaches a youth audience (as well as their parents, teachers and coaches), encouraging kindness, prayerfulness and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit.
Making the world a better place, and pointing others towards eternity with God is Robert’s mission.
“A single act of kindness can rewrite the future!”
Influencers
There are a handful of people whose giftedness has had a profound impact on me. These are some of the folks who have helped me to dream, shape my world-view and/or have inspired me to make a difference in the lives of others.
Tim Timmons. Tim is an amazing singer, songwriter who has the ability to take complex truths about God’s love and make them simple, digestible and memorable. Check him out at timtimmonsmusic.com
Tim Keller. Tim is the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in NYC. He is an outstanding teacher and has published a wealth of resources that unpack the depths of scripture. To learn more about Tim or to obtain his resources, check out his site at timothykeller.com.
Ken Verheyen. Ken is a businessman, husband and father. But, he has influenced me most by his role as a “Christ follower”. He loves God and people, and makes it his life’s mission to help others see that they are a “Masterpiece” in God’s eyes. He sees each person as uniquely made, uniquely gifted, and highly valuable. To catch a glimpse of Ken’s heart, check out the intro portion of this video https://youtu.be/TVCqadRkvlM
C.S. Lewis. From my early days as a Christian, the writings of C.S. Lewis provided clarity and illumination to scripture. His books range from children’s stories to adult allegories and deep theological exposition. Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters are two of my favorites from C.S. Lewis. I encourage you to check out his webite at cslewis.com/us/. Pick up some of his books, you won’t be disappointed!
Tim Tebow. I was a fan of Tim when he was playing professional sports, but even more important… I was inspired by his bold faith. He proclaimed his belief in God on the global stage, but not in a proselytizing manner - rather he humbly expressed his passion and love for the Lord. Even more impressive is that he displays his devotion by intentionally reaching out to the marginalized. To learn more about his ministry and outreach visit timtebow.com.
